Roger Federer vs. Andy Roddick
The "great" finally become the "greatest" without any doubt, after beating Andy Roddick at Wimbledon for his 15th Grand Slam.
Pete Sampras: “What he’s done over the past five years has never, ever been done – and probably will never happen again. He goes down as the greatest ever.”
Bjorn Borg: “For me, Roger is the greatest player ever who played the tennis game.”
Tim Henman: “You’re talking about the best player that’s ever lived and he’s only 27. I don’t think there has ever been such a complete player.”
Andre Agassi: “He’s extraordinarily talented and talk about grace on court, watching him play is something special to see.”
Marat Safin: “With all due respect to Agassi and Sampras he’s the most complete tennis player in the history of tennis.”
Ana Ivanovic: “It looks so easy when he steps on the court, doesn’t it? I think he’s such a great champion.“
Tommy Haas: “There is not much this guy can’t do and he’s the favourite for the title.”
Ivo Karlovic: “He is what he is – better than everybody else.”
Robin Soderling: “He’s a great grass-court player – he doesn’t have any weaknesses at all. He really deserves to be called the best player of all time.”
